theres a scam going around these days--especially on the dating websites
a nice looking girl contacts u, blah blah, u chat for a few days and it turns out she living with her family in nigeria or senegal or ghana --she tries to win your heart with sweet talk etc. eventually it comes down to she needs money to get out and come visit u wherever u may be.

Interestingly enough , a similar thing like this has happened to my friend in Indonesia, only this time, she is a young Asian girl, and the Spam is from some "Guy in Europe" she met online, who needed money to come out to Asia to see her. The guys says that he loves her, and all that stuff, and sends her a picture of himself. ( asked her to forward the picture to me). The picture is of a very hansome blonde haired blue eyed looking man.I asked her if he sent any other pictures of himself, which she said, no. I then told her it was a scam, That these E-mail con jobs prey on loney people, whether they are a man or woman.
It's even happened to me in the past, one from the Phillipines ( needed money for "Medicine" ), and other from China ( for a "new computer").
As soon as that happened, I cut off comunication with these "women"...

Don't you have a Yahoo email account yourself? Just look in the spam folder there from time to time. Where do you want them sent to?

Some farang are trying their hands at it, people say. I couldn't tell, got no firsthand experience, just problems with the guys trying to abuse my forum for their spamming. They even got their own ...ehm... website with a category "darling".
