Yeah... and I completely understand (I think) what s/hes trying to say. Being a "Third Culture Kid" -- your never sure who you really are...-- Maybe its the same for expats who've been @ country for a very long time. I mean.. my dads been here (in Japan) for 30 years now and he doesn't completely identify with being "American" anymore... _________________ Check out my site: http://www.expatkid.net
I fly back to my native country, Australia, at the end of this week for one month. I've been away three years. The main complaint I hear from Chinese who have been to Australia, is that it is too quiet compared with their own homeland.
I'll be mainly catching up with family & friends whilst away. When I return to China in August 2005, I'll holiday domestically for a couple of weeks before the next academic year begins.

Perhaps when you get back I'll buy you a beer in Shanghai. I've started some production there so I'll have to visit ocassionally 4 QC.

I believe that Australia has internet access, so I should be able to log on.
Don't know when I'll make it to Shanghai, however it would seem as though we will both be connected to China in some way for a while yet. _________________ EXPAT IN CHINA
