So, how's average dining in Thailand? Cost, taste, etc.? Is it a healthy food? Do you eat at the restaurant typically? Do you take out the food typically?

q2. Compared to other major Asian cities like Tokyo, Seoul, and Hong Kong?
q3. Compared to major European cities?
q4. How's high end restaurant?
q5. How's low end restaurant?

(A) Compared to New York and San Fransico Its better cheaper and you don't have to leave a big tip.
(B) Compared to other parts of Asia its better due to the fact that you get less of the whole Addams family syndrome.
There is a big difference between high end and low end. Low End is acceptable but not spectacular.
HighEnd the skys the limit
Overall you can get almost anything from British Pub grub to deep dish pizza. 90% of it is great clean too

Certain types of food cannot be found in various regions for variety of reasons including cultural and religious reasons. For example, it is highly unusual that you find raw seafood in China(main land). Pork is not served in many countries. Is there anything like that in Thailand? Is there a certain type of food that you don't find?

The southern part of Thailand has lots of Muslims. They don't eat pork. As a tourist you will have no problem finding a nice Bratverst anywhere in Thailand.

In principle, they aren't supposed to be drinking alcohol, either, are they?

There are plenty of Arabs who come to Thailand and get up to all kinds of naughty behavour just check out the Grace hotel

Of the hundreds of arab muslims that I worked, traveled, and associated with for 5 years, 75 % drank alchohol and 95% were adulturers

Or could it be because some peolle do not have the urge to drink alchohol ie. some people just dont like it

Alcohol is an arabic word. So is Assasin. Assasin literaly means hashish eater. In the old days if you were going to bump someone off. You would chew on some hashish before doing it.

Al means "the" in Arabic . So then I wonder what cohol means? The what?
