I have a question for the ex-pats out there who are familiar with Bangkok. I am heading there in October and I need some information
I am looking for a baby store (i.e. somewhere to buy baby products, not babies ) I know there are a couple of mid-sized stores around (one on Sukhumvit soi 49, Central BangNa etc) but I was wondering if anyone knew of hypermart or super-store?
I thought I saw one off the highway when I was heading on the bus to Chon Buri from Bangkok earlier this year (just to the north of the highway) but I can't be sure.
end of Sukhumvit soi 26 there is a Carrefour and a Lotus Supercenter. Near to entrance of Sukhumvit 25 there is a Robinsons that has lots of good baby stuff.
Secon square on Srinakarin road (Close to Bang Na) is a huge shopping complex where there are several different palces to get baby stuff. Secon includes a Lotus and a Robinsons plus loads of small shops. _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating
Thanks for the reply. I've been to Robinson's by Soi 25 (I think I even have a member's card lying around ) and also Carrefour but I will go and check out the Lotus Supercenter. Secon Square sounds good too.
I remember going past a bunch of large stores on the way to Chonburi. It's probably about twenty minutes past On Nut station on the left (i.e. north side of Sukhumvit). I thought I saw a massive home store and maybe a kid's store too. Does this sound familiar or am I imagining things?
On the road to Chonburi just out of bangkok there is a big Central department store shopping center and then about 300 meters past that there is a big furniture multilevel shopping plaza.--Neither place is noted for baby stuff but central would have some stuff there. _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating
