Played Golf at Bang Phra Golf course this past saturday.
Took me about an hour to get there from Bang Na.
Arrived at about 8:00 AM and the first thign I noticed is the receptionist speaking fluent Japanese --well not surprising as this is a Japanese owned course- I did not see any other westereners there all day but there were a smattering of thais enjoying their rounds of golf--thew rest weere all Japanese.
paid my fees and headed 5 meters away to the breakfast buffet--150 Baht all you can eat was a good deal as the food was fresh and tasty--and not all Japanese food.
Golf coures is long and difficult and the greens were near to impossible to judge--very fast and sloping. Our round took about 4 1/2 hours. Overall a nice experience as the course is one of the oldest in Thailand and is surrounded by hills and forest--there are even wild monkeys roaming around.
Caddies were very polite and unassuming(quite the opposite of Crystal bay caddies)
