I'm just wondering who the best ISP in Bangkok is? Fastest connection for the best price? I'm not really concerned with the speed of Thai pages loading, but the speed of the connection to international sites.

I'm hoping to use it as a voip phone while living in Bangkok to call Canada with. I use Skype currently and I've found that as long as I'm somewhere with good, real broadband, that the phone call quality is actually pretty good.

Thanks!

i use true and very happy with performance
i have the 512/2.5 mb package at 1253 baht per month which actually might be overkill as i dont get those speeds anyway
friend of mine signed up the other day and they did not even offer the 512/2.5 to him

i might even downgrade to the minimum 590 baht package and see what the difference is

i had sporadic connection problems when i used the usb modem -after a switching to adsl wireless router it all works very smoothly-i have 3 pc's sharing my connection and all work fine

there is another service called "buddy" i believe buit i know nothing about it

i use skype as well-no problems

Thanks Mike!

Let me know if you do see a difference between the 2 packages, I'd much rather spend 590B instead of 1253 each month!
