Its not too difficult to find the best Indian or Chinese food in Singapore, Its Simply everywhere!!! No bad investments possible.

But electronics and computers, that's a different story.

Where to get the best deal on digital camera's and computers/laptops? Where should I pay attention to? Should I be afraid of a ripoff?

No one mentioned the Mustafa Department store in Little India. That's gotta be worth a shot (It's near the Farrer Park MRT station).

I'd just shop around and compare prices on the same models. No rip-offs but some vendors will take out a component of the camera (battery, lense cap etc) and then try to sell it as an 'extra'. The sell price looks low but they make up a few dollars this way (How dumb do they think people are?). Nothing to worry about in the bigger shops though....

For all I know you've probably been and gone LOL
