My dad's 49 and has been in construction for 30 years. I've lived in China for 4, and plan to escape to Thailand soon.
I've been told that there used to be high demand for western carpenters in the Philippines, that they can possibly make a western wage, and although demand has gone down it's still there.
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything at all about how hard it would be to get my dad one ocean's breadth closer without me having to go back to the land of death by mediocrity.
