Saturday, May 20 th, 27 th, one day secret Great wall hike RMB 250
Meet at 8 a.m. at the Cycle China office (Opposite of the east Gate of Jingshan park , look up map)
Drive to a nice village, start hiking, climb up to the most beautiful part of Great wall around Beijing called Jiankou, then walk on the old wild wall, enjoy the great view of Beijing city, get to a restored part of wall called Mutianyu, about 4 hours hiking, the best hiking experience of Great wall around Beijing, better than Jinshanling-Simatai hike, for more information email to reserve@cyclechina.com , or call 139-1188-6524
May 20 th, City night tour and Kung-Fu show RMB 200
Meet at 17:00 p.m. at the Cycle China office
Cycle through winding hutong, visit a Kung-Fu master??s old house, get to an excellent restaurant, after a superb Chinese cuisine, enjoy a stunning Kung-Fu show, one of the best Kung-Fu shows ever in China, then return home and have a nice sleep. Kung-fu show ticket itself can also be booked by Cycle China.
Sunday, May 21 st, Bike to Xiangtan lake and visit Phoenix hill RMB 250
Meet at 8 a.m. at the Cycle China office (Opposite of the east Gate of Jingshan park , look up map)
Take a bus , get to somewhere near Juyong pass Great wall, then start cycling on the q uiet country road, get to two picture like lake first, cycle around the lakes, with all the green hill and beautiful lake, feel li ke being in the picture. Or if we are lucky, we are able to jump into the lake, do a bit swimming. Then keep cycling, pass couple of villages, get to a town which is famous for hot pot, needless to say, lets have a hot pot lunch there, after lunch, keep cycling on the nice country road, then get to a place called Phoenix hill, do a bit hiking around, check out the famous Spring fountain, then come back to Beijing.
Apr 25 th , a bike tour of national defense history RMB 120
Meet at 8 a.m. at the Cycle China office (Opposite of the east Gate of Jingshan park , look up map)
Grab a view of the relics of Ming dynasty CITY WALL, then cycle to a little know memorial hall of a Great Chinese hero who was killed by his beloved fellow in a set up, then cycle through winding hutongs to a underground city built in Chairman Mao time, pay a visit the amazing defense work, then cycle back to the hotel. Apr 27 th-28 th, over night trip, Cycle around Ming tombs water reservoir, hike from Shuiquangou to little west lake
8 AM of Apr 27 th at Cycle China office , RMB 550
Drive to the scenic Ming tombs water reservoir, then do a loop cycle around the lake, then cycle through the magnificent pine forest in Ming tombs area, Later on, do a nice hiking in a beautiful valley. Stay overnight in a little village, next day hike in a beautiful valley, along a nice and tranquil stream, prepare to get wet during the hike, later on get to a beautiful place called little west lake, then drive back to the city.
Apr 27 th-28 th, weekend tour to “Pingyao” and Datong 1780 RMB
A uniquely designed tour, two famous destinations packed in one weekend tour, you’re your money and time more valuable. Take train to a magnificent courtyard first, Wang jia da yuan, check out this grand private palace, then pay a visit to the 2000 years old Pingyao City, get to Datong next day, visit the famous Yungang Grottoes and the hanging monasteries, get back to Beijing by Monday morning.
