For those who dont know what they look like, this is my Meastro.
They were renowned for their styling (the didnt have any), the reliability (they werent), the performance (they didnt) and their many defects.
The best of them was the turbo diesel, which mine is, which runs well, ahs a decent turn of speed, and is very economical.
The latter is important when one pays almost £4 (= US$ a gallon for fuel!
Why mine hasnt rusted away, or fallen apart, I dont know. It has done over 200,000 miles so far.
Still dont look too bad for an old 'un either. (Or as good as they ever looked !)
You might just have a classic on your hands!!!! 200K Miles? and still looking like that? I wouldn't sell it either. _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating

Who knows? Perhps you're right.
If I did try to sell it, I doubt that it would fetch a reasonable price, probably around £200 or so, and it is worth more than that to me.
For anyone who wonders what the US fuel price I quoted is, it is Eight Dollars a gallon.
For some reason, that combination of letters / numbers produces a smiley.

200 Pounds?????/ Of course not worth selling.
8 Dollars a gallon Yeah but you guys have your own oil. BTW is UK self sufficient in oil?? North Sea oil enough for u?
As for the smileys--each smily has chaachters associatred with it for use in programming--you choose the ones for that smiley _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating
North sea oil is running down, and also is of a particular grade that maens other types are also required.
Hence, we import quite a lot from various places.
As for the price, TAX is the culprit! Our fuel is taxed to a level that means that a very large proportion of what we pay goes to the governments coffers.
