Have never been adventurous in water sports for I am rather "water-phobic" but nevertheless tried out the dragonboat training session with the British Dragonboat team earlier this Sat afternoon and it was great fun!!!
You pay SGD10.00 to cover the boat hire, coach & some refreshments. A change of clothes, towel & a bottle of water is what would be advised to be brought along. After all, its a splashy sport but you shouldn't have to swim!
For more info, you may like to visit this url -> http://www.britishdragonboat.com/ _________________ excuse me if I make no sense... |

It was fun though! and my body is aching more now as after dragonboating, went for a session of badminton. Then again the next day, had badminton again...
Now... I NEED a massage! _________________ excuse me if I make no sense... |

There is this Thai massage that I go to and its about SGD60.00 for one and a half hour. (read ... no hanky panky)
Its about this rate but if you go for Javanese massage or aromatherapy massage - it may go up to like SGD70.00/hr _________________ excuse me if I make no sense... |

Well, I'm looking to playing badminton at least twice a week, tennis at least once a week.
Those people whom we played badminton with, they are pretty good. _________________ excuse me if I make no sense... |

Singapore IS expensive - for EVERYTHING!
In China, a two hour massage would run you about 65RMB - which is about 8USD. No hanky panky, just a massage. It can also go down to as low as 50RMB for two hours ...
Even HK is cheaper - I think a two hour massage would run around HKD300 or so - which is about 37USD (approx). Again, no funny stuff - just a massage. _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community! |
