Hi everyone,
If you notice, there is some really big emoticons here. I would like to suggest that they should be hide and will only show up if we click on "View more Emoticons". They are too big and it makes the layout gone.
Actually I like it when all the emotions are shown ... but that's just me.
Another thing is, if people have to click "view more emotions" to get to the other (and sometimes better) emotions, most of them end up ignoring the "view more emotions" link (I've found this out when I put a ton of emotions on my site). Sad, but true ... _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!

Just my 2 cents.
Am I missing something? whats wrong with the layout??
IMHO, nothing wrong with it.
What he means is he prefers the type of layout as in DGEX (where you have to click the 'View more emotions' line to get the full page of emotions to show up) ... and what's normally visible to the users without clicking the URL is a compact list of the basic smileys.
To me, it actually looks better this way, unless there are a TON of smileys - but I dont really mind either way, to be honest. But as I said, most users won't click the URL, thus rendering the smileys useless for the most part!
Nope. After my first rant on here, they "fixed" it ... but they fixed it in a way that water leaked all over the balcony, and into the wall (though not into the house).
After another rant (at the maintainence person responsible for fixing this) they fixed that situation and it worked OK for a while - and now water is leaking again into the wall, and INTO the house ...
Finally, the landlady decided it's time to replace the A/C - and it's about time - that A/C is really on it's last legs. See what happens now ...

Well, I'd post it, but I'm not really doing much on there now ...
Their community there is strange ... though I'm sure there are some cool members on there.
I mean, who on earth would get offended by a beer/pizza posting? Even more surprisingly, who would start flaming the poster for it? Most mysterious ... ... andwhat really puzzled me is they got offended by me posting the smiley (why have it on the forum if they get offended ) ...
It sounds like one of the small towns in Mississippi (only online), where outsiders are told to stay out, and heaven forbid if they don't. What I really found funny is that they all claimed this topic was one they didnt want to discuss (well a lot did, not all) - but at the end of the day, it's the one that's getting the most attention ... shows what a life the said flamers have. _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
