Don't know George,,must be some inside limey word,ya know that they really don't speak english, sounds like the CHAP that wrote it is one of them snooty poms that ain't to swift on us colonials.
Notice his nick?? colder than a frog.
I wasn't banned,I was prohibited from posting because I have certain ideas about certain things,,like I believe that queers are immoral, sexual deviates and degenerates,,they thought that I should love even degenerates or at least accept their behavior, I of coarse do not, so when my 30 day posting ban was lifted,I told them to remove my name from their member roster, they did the 3rd time I requested it and I was banned..I was invited here so I came, and then you showed up and now it is not nearly so nice a place, and there are a couple of others was going to move over here and they have read some of your posts and decided again doing it...
besides being restricted or banned from thaivisa is no big deal, lots of people are treated in this manner, if your ideas are not fostered by the admin/mods then you will be restricted on a regular basis. They do not like for someone to think outside the box. You must agree with all of their ideas and some of them are still in the closet, and if you ain't ,then you are out.
Some folks think that you post the crap that you do because you are a liberal,,But we know different don't we,,You post the crap that you do because you are an IDIOT. which was brought on from masterbation and inbreeding and the fact that your mother and father were never married.
Nobbled means to stop stop a racehorse running on its' merits.
Whilst I am not a racehorse, I was stopped from running on my merits. I have an ability to put together a coherent argument in favour of or in opposition to a position. As an example Kevin there has an opinion, which I don't agree with, but since it's his opinion, its fine and it has merit, even if only to him.
I am not a politically correct person. Nor am I a pom. I am in fact from a different place altogether. I have opinons, one of which certainly is, that poor old Kevin is a bigot. I don't agree with his opinion, but I appreciate that he did, and I would, if called upon, fight to the death to allow him the right to express an opinion, albeit not in agreement with mine.
Kevin is right, an opinion is one thing, which each of us, has the RIGHT to express, so long as it is clearly labelled an opinion and is not held up as a way for other to behave, even if, in holding the opinion, and expressing it, I may choose to live it.
Using nobbled in this instance therefore, was accurate if a tiny bit idiomatic.
_________________ Quite Bizarre!!!
Nobbled is quite commonly used in the UK.
Whilst the original meaning was related to horse racing, it is now taken to mean "cause to fail" usually by unfair means: or, "disabled by unfair means".
Perhaps not the best possible word in the above context, but close enough for most people.
As for English, that is the language we in England speak.
Dunno about some of them thar strange words you 'Mericuns use!
Interestingly enough, most schools I've been to in Thailand prefer to hire Americans, instead of Brits, to teach English. Most say it's because they can actually understand what the Americans are saying....
