Depends on the type of entertainment.....
For example a woman singer
would be different from a woman yodeler
would be different from a woman of other oral entertainment
Further for a soapy type entertainment you must wai very low.... especially if you wish to look her in the eye and at as low as your wallet level
I always get a wai at a soapy. I get many other fantastic things to. _________________ You've got another five seconds say something really outragious

Shaking hands is a perfect way to do it, A hand shake is an acceptable and can be done by either men or women.

Now does that sound correct to you?? 5555
Hi,
Just getting around to this string / abit belatedly...
Dude (or Dudess), there's nothing wrong with showing people respect (especially elders) IF you learn how to do it properly. With (professional-type) Thai friends that speak English I often just shake their hand. With close Thai friends, I'll wai them accordingly AND shake their hand. With Thai strangers, I'll wai them. _________________ Hey! from the mountains
