Is it true they love white foreigners? I've a friend who just came back and he said the chicks would follow him and hit on him constantly... is this an urban myth or is there truth?

Unless your friend is Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise I'd say that is exagerating.
But it is easy to find a girlfriend there

That's the thing - he's just an average looking 24 yr old.. and he said two chicks followed him off the bus and he romped them both in his room... now I find that hard to believe, which is why Im wondering if it really is that easy to get laid in Japan if your white

I doubt very much that that's a common occurance. In fact I doubt that it happened to your friend.

yeah, taking a bus IS rare in Japan. i've done it a few times on rare occasion, for example when certain parts of JR lines were being worked on, cuz i was too lazy to walk. all in all i probably did it twice the whole 2 years i was there.
japanese travel Shinkansen (bullet train) & airplane for long distances
train & car for medium distances
&
bike or car for short distances
nobody really takes the bus... it's not south america. =]

Barflygirls are barflygirls throughout the world; if you are willing to wait in line, they can be had. As for girls 'following' a chap--lol, most likely they are the real losers. Foreigners CANNOT EVER get a normal, first rate girl. The only girls which allow foreigners are either psychologically impaired, naive, or just quite immature--albeit can be pretty-- or just plain teeth defective dogs.

Quite contrary, I agreed to the previous poster to a certain extent, depending on what you call a first rate girl. If you consider drop-dead gorgeous Japanese girl as a first rate girl, then I have not seen many foreigners having one. But foreigners do date or marry some intelligent women although they are not the beautiful ones working in the Shiseido counter at Takashimaya. |
