MY Dear readers; I have been on the road over 20 years .I could probably wrote the lonely planet guide, time over , but I would have included a few things more .

My experience has a lot to tell you: now LETS VISIT VIETNAM , what a warm and friendly welcome this country gives, it doesn't allow you be be an overnight guest in one Vietnamese family when you arrive! great !

Maybe is because you will be more safe sleeping in a ZULU' tribes of Africa!

their Government excuse is that is not safe for us tourist to mix with the local family ,
what a ball *** ! well in fact, what they do mean is that: you must sleep in the hotel and pay money to us !and with your money we build the hotels ! have you seen how many thousand hotels have been build in the past 16 years ! thanks to us ! The visa system sucks too !

Is only valid from the day of issue and not available on arrival. Incredible .!What a WELCOME !
is the only country that operate in such a way. And is the most expensive of the
countries named here. There still a difference between north and south. be prepared to be charged more when you are in the north ! And
keep well away from karaoke places ! they blackmail you for money !
In Burma, Myanmar , there are some nice people, but is sad that the price of food double in front of your eyes as soon they see you coming . for everything you buy you must ask the price ! ( what is the point if you don't know it ?) IF YOU BUY VIAGRA ON THE STREET, BE CAREFUL soon after a policeman will stop you and you will be prosecuted if you don't give money to them ! is a big tourist scam !is
obvious that the seller works with the police ! as for the transport it treble
in price, we must pay 3 times more than the Burmese people ! Why our
Government don't apply the same law to this people when they
come into our Country ? why me must be stupid ! Lets charge them 2, 3, 4 time more and see how well they will like it !

And you are not allowed to fly in ! they are saying is because of your safety. or they say :we must check our plain with you people on board) but really what they are say is :you must keep our airline in the air and pay money for the planes, as I have been in some places overland and there is no problem traveling !but must pay to Police checkpoints!
Now lets visit Laos : for sure gives you the fright to read in many hotel warnings about the dirty sex industry ! WHAT A CLEAN IMPRESSION !but what is their excuse when you are not allowed to sleep
with any Lao ladies ,even if she is your girlfriend and you have an official
engagement paper !and sleeping together it doesn't really mean intercourse in our society it can also mean pure company friendship!. You can be put in prison and ,if you are lucky you will negotiate a fine of 10 thousand usd to be paid to the police.
Only after you are married you can stay in her house or sleep together
but of course if you are a Lao citizen you can sleep with her even before you
are official engaged to her. !
If you are thinking to marry one of those beautiful Lao ladies' is probably for the best
that you forget it ! The proceedings is a such slow deliberated and painful
process that it require 15 documents, and over a year or more of bureaucratic
confrontations, and at the cost of proxy 2 thousand dollars to be
distributed among the many Chairs Warmer officers, by the time that passes by, mouths
year/s , they really hope that you will not get married any more and to cut your loss and go back to your land ! for the lucky one that have succeeded after payment, they consider them self so lucky for a near miss hart failure or stroke !

In meantime can you imagine the poor falang (tourist )fellow is living in fear to be caught by the authorities Is this freedom ? or infringement of human rights ?

But if you are a lady from another part of the world ,USA ,EUROPE , is ok for you to spend your night in company of a Lao man . What about justice !!
Here don't exist human rights, they apply internal laws !!!!Very strange !how they can do this ,and get away !
Corruption, here is a way of life, money is the name of the game , if you
don't have , you are a deep fried Falang. Is incredible you see so many
wealthy and luxurious cars, to be told by the drivers that they earn only 50
dollar per month !! Incredible ,those cars must run on water ! As for the meals
you need at list 1 dollar for your noodle ! AND 1 dollar per litre of gas ! Lets wonder how people can manage to live !
There are many brothels in Laos but :not for the tourist you can be put to
prison ! there is a brothel in Van Vieng just 600 yard from the center , on
the left with multicolor light ,going out of town, all those places are easy to spot, and many
other are all over the country. some out of towns and away from the tourist ! not to be seen ! BUT ARE
NOT FOR YOU ! we are not allowed. you can be fined and put in prison ! This is
to give a clean look at the tourist trade !! underage girls are there too ! is sad !YOU CAN SEE THEY DO NEED HELP!
Here people don't like to talk about politic. Most are naive and some other afraid.

The people in town are driven by the greediness of money ! You are in Asia. if you go to your Embassy for some help;
they will laugh at you, giving you a sarcastic smile , referring you to the local lawyer for you to spend money . Is only a very nice jobs for
them, at the expense of your and my country !

Everyone wants easy money without doing much work overhear ! Dusty streets,
and cleaning is not part of everyday way way of life !
Now a bit of Thailand : As a falang we must to pay 2, 3 times more to see any
attraction that this beautiful very clean country offer .A visit to the
local zoo cost as 3 time more then the local people, their excuse maybe is that when the animals see Falangs (tourist) they get afraid and eat 3 times more , so we charge them more !
But then when we want to visit a Building, museum , what is their excuse ??? that we have six eyes? six legs?

I do hope that our country will apply the same technique when Asian tourist arrive into our Countries . We are not suckers . AND ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Lets charge them more, 2,
3, 4 , 5 times over, and if they complain , just say :You are a Falang in my land .

I do hope that travelers will stop to travel in any countries where there is
no justice, no equal right, until they do change the way they operate .UNTIL ALL Those ABUSE OF POWER WILL BE ERADICATED in every country. Until fundamental human equality law are been applied everywhere in a correct human way .
And is up to us to make the change, or make them change ! How , is easy. if we all stayed in our Country we would be better off. ! our currency will be in our country . more money in our
nations ! And if someone is ripping you off, is one of your co national citizen,
and part of your and my country ! and to be proud of .

The above liner are written in love and in memory of all the tourist that have lost their life in accidents while traveling through Asia , and that their soul will always rest in peace .Amen.

In Burma... 99.9 % people are sincere and nice..very small % bad are greedy, corrupt authourities and their associates..they took bribes left and right to their own people.
My sister went back to Burma as a nurse and translator for the "Operation Smile " , her husband also went back the same time to visit his families in upper Burma. Every night, the authourities checked him what he was doing and what pictures he was taking and some threatening words.
We were happy for his safe returned back to US.
My best friend was detained at the airport for hours, (his name is the same name that authorities watch list )
My point is, the corrupt authorities in Burma are bad, not only to tourists and also to their own people too.
