depends on what you are using now and if you are happy with that.
i like the ie v 7 and like being able to open ie and have my 4-5 tabs open automatically
it is a 14 mB download and requires that yoyu have MS validitor control installed as it will validate yopur windows license when you install.
If your windows is not legal you cannot install
Mike - does IE6 not validate licenses? I thought they all did that ...
I'm running an original version of Windows, but I've had PC's with pirated versions of Windows, and all softwares seemed to install fine ...
Anyway IE6 gives me enough hassle as it is - I can just imagine what IE7 will probably be like (you know Microsoft, everything new just seems to cause more problems). _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
ie 7 wont install unless your windows license is validated first.
I have been using it only for 1/2 day but i like it already-
I'll check it out sometime ...
BTW did the earlier IE's not do this verification? Guess not!

also learned today that you can save all your favorites in a google profile that you can access fromany browser with internt connection.
also check out google analytics
I guess the favorites are stored in some form of a DB then (local DB or ...?)
If not a local DB, hehe, not sure if I'd want any DB to store the list of porn sites that I visit daily. _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
of course Google promises not to divulge your links to anyone.
ie 6 could be installed without the validation
Google promises that? They promised many things, but ultimately Google China was born (not posting any more on it, and I'm sure you know why if you get my drift ... )
BUT, they made several changes (Google China) which weren't really in accordance with usual Google policies ... ; Google it to find out! _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
Though sometimes if you wanna use google, then google china is the only option They block google.com perodically
Oh yeah, the blocking!! Don't you just love it ... NOT!
Thing that is so frustrating is that they just block out random IP ranges sometimes - this resulted in my web site being "blocked" ... including email and everything. Very frustrating, having to use proxy servers to update it - and my web site has absolutely nothing on it which would cause it to get banned.
Google.com.cn, yes, worth missing - only time I use it is if I'm looking for pirated software .
Never had the problem of Google being blocked here, but I've noticed that sometimes, if I try to access certain HK sites, it won't let me and then after that, Google is not accessible at all for a period of time (usually around 15 minutes or so). Weird ... _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
