At different times I have tried various browsers to see which, if any, have any distinct advantages over the usual Microsoft offering.
Among others, I tried Firefox, which isnt bad, but to me, had no great advantage.

I have just found one that I like and which does seem to be that but different and have more security features.
So fqar, it appears to work well.

Deepnet is the name.

If anyone tries it, I would be interested in their views.

Virus's and spyware?

try Maxthon or Firefox

That was my point.
I have tried both of them, and Firefox isnt bad, but to me, none had any special advantages over IE.

Deepnet has.

What I like about firefox is that I can open several tabs with one mouse click. I don'e really like the bookmark system and it does tend to hang more often than ie

Maxthon has the same feature, groups

you can group favorites and assign names to it

for eg I have a TV group which opens the local TV stations
