Whats the big stink with this frigg'n IPOD.
Whoopdy doo--can listen to mp3's on a little credit card sized player--so what.
In 2 months the current versions will be obsolete and there wil be millions of owners of overpriced IPODs.
BTW I am waiting for a car-mp3 player that also acts as a DAP (Digital Audio Player) docking unit. _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating

Here's the math:
Of the dozen or so songs on a typical US$15 CD, one finds perhaps 3 that one really likes, ie, one is paying roughly $US5/song for the songs that one really likes.
With a $194 iPod, one can download and store from iTunes 500 CD-quality songs, each and every one of which one actually likes. (One can hear a 30-second rendition of the song before downloading.) At $0.99 each, one's total investment for the ability to carry in one's pocket one's favorite 500 songs is $694.
Before the iPod and iTunes, one would have had to purchase as many as 2000 CDs to get those same 500 songs. If the average price was $15, that's $30,000.
Never bought a CD, and dont plan to.
I have many hundreds of LP's, some EP's, loads of 45's, and even some 78's.
They contain all the music I like, and all are now copied onto a, my computer, and b, onto CD's as selections of my choice.
Dont see the need for an Ipod as the chances of my wanting to walk round listening to music are zero. _________________ The Middle Eastern states aren't nations; they're quarrels with borders.- P. J. O'Rourke
Boffins have invented a sex toy that connects up to an iPod and vibrates in time to the music.
The vibrations get faster as the music gets louder on the £25 iBuzz, reports the Sun Online.
Ali Carnegie, of adult-store www.LoveHoney.co.uk, said the firm is already on the verge of selling out of the bullet-sized device before Christmas.
She said its inconspicuous design has been a big winner with women and claims the sex toy, totally unrelated to Apple, is perfect for giving users "big smiles on their way to work".
Jessamy Hawley, of Gadget Candy - a technology website aimed at women - believes combining two female passions is sure to prove a No1 hit.
She added: "The iPod is this era's must-have accessory, while a vibrator is a timeless addition to every girl's gadget drawer.

.... Of all the gadgets in a girl's drawers... remember couple months back the post about the woman with the buzzing underwear... whats this world coming too....
and to think of the troubles that police have been having in trying to get people not to use their cell phones while driving, unless in some cases they are hands free. This of course due to the increase in the number of accidents while using these phones. Now the question is, how in the world will the police check if a woman driver has a vibrating bullet up her XXXXXXX which may have led to the accident?
