Cannot access Gmail or Google search etc. for about two days now. Does anybody have a clue why? Everything else works. _________________ Thailand Forum - Korat Forum..

google works
sometimes when the network is overlaoded I have trouble with al google sites
Since your AEF Calender seems to be associated to Google somehow - gives error message that www.google.com cannot be accessed - kindly fill in your calender dates yourself - or you gotta wait for the net not being overloaded anymore. _________________ Thailand Forum - Korat Forum..
Since about 1 p.m. Google works again. I can even access the AEF calender for reading. But how to insert an event in there you gotta explain. It doesn't seem to be easy . . . _________________ Thailand Forum - Korat Forum..

ok we can test--i meed to add you as an editor--you will get a mail
Problem continues; since I got my email at Google, I don't get any, Google is inaccessible again, and so is Yahoo.
Two days ago there was an article on the swiss news site www.thaipage.com about the newly founded Freedom Against Censorship Thailand (FACT) informing about the thai government having blocked more than 2.500 news pages from Yahoo, BBC, CNN and also thai news sites where they had been critisized. It did happen in the weeks before more and more often that links sent to me by Google News Alert of stories related to politics in Thailand (and just those) were simply not working anymore.
Now I got left to suspect a blocking of the whole sites Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. at least in this area. Our highly influential forums they let us operate without problems. _________________ Thailand Forum - Korat Forum..

I've been using Google Calendar to organize my calendar, find interesting events, and share my schedule with friends and family members. I thought you might like to use Google Calendar, too.
Asia Expat recommends that you use Google Calendar.
Google Calendar helps you keep track of everything going on in your life and those of the important people around you, and also help you discover interesting things to do with your time.
Thanks, Mike, I checked and found it fairly useless for me.
I dont use it for my personal calendar but it can be useful to list events for forum visitors to check on _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating

From my experience of running an events calender for the Rhein-Main-area in a cultural magazine: it's useless, far to complicated.
Some of the free-forum providers have good calenders with their service. I think there is also one compatible to phpbb2, where every member of the forum can make entries. I'm still on the look-out for one that can display pictures on the explanations that pop up when you click the name of an event.
