iot gonna get lasik
i tested some lenses that simulated how lasik would be and i had double vision
so--they told me that i am not suitable for contacts or lasik
reading glasses are the only solution. _________________ Asia Expats Forum

| Age is something to consider as well here - a mate of mine in his early 40's (several years ago now) went to see about laser eye surgery and he was told that with his age he shouldn't bother (something about the older you get the less its worth doing)... On a tv show some years back the reporter got his done but was told that in years to come his eyes will revert back to what they were before the surgery... I'm 51 and would consider getting it done if I could get 5 - 10 years good eye sight (I'm far sighted and need reading glasses)... |

Yes they told me the same--even if they could perform lasik--my eyes would slowly revert back to pre lasik levels.

Why Mike?
Would you be fearful of having it done in this part of the world? |

Hey TP

LASIK is one of the most common procedures performed worldwide and in the right hands and with the right technology has a phenomenal success rate. IntraLASIK takes safety one step further by using a LASER (Intralase) instead of a cutting device with a blade to perform the first stage of the LASIK procedure.
