Tell us about your weekend
Missus changed her mind and instead visited Kanchanaburi. Erawan waterfalls and the Bridge over the River Kwae???
Wanted to upload some pictures but they are rather big at 2+Mb since I use a 5.1 camera
will try and find time to resize them.
bought tiger prawns @400 per kg and crab with roe @350 per kg from Mahachai seafood market (the new one)
BBQ the seafood at the accomodation consisiting of 5 rooms. We took 3 rooms @400 per night. One fan, 2 mattress with 2 pillows and 2 blanklets.
Only manage to go to step??? 3 of the waterfalls since the weather is a little too hot for me. There are 7 steps??? at the Erawan waterfalls. Not sure whether it is MEA or EGAT that offers air-con rooms at 400 baht per night but it is full with meetings being held. Fried egg with 3 pieces of miserable ham cots 30 baht and coffee is 10 baht.
Had lunch Bridge over the River Kwae??? and the next time I will book a big raft complete with karaoke and bring 20 persons on board. Not sure of the cost though

One of my favorite places...I think level 5 is the best one, went swimming there with a waterfall-side picnic.....sorry you couldn't make it up there, but I understand as the going does get a bit rough.
