Hi. We’re looking for a Chinese female blogger in Shanghai to take part in a TV programme.
We’re from Sitting in Pictures Pte Ltd, a TV production house in Singapore, and we have been commissioned to produce an international co-production on female bloggers in Asia by the Media Development Authority of Singapore and the Korean Broadcasting Institute.
This TV programme is taking place in various Asian cities, of which Shanghai is one of them. We plan to feature one blogger in each city. The aim of the programme is to provide insight into the lifestyle of young Asian women, and to present a new viewpoint for the identity and culture of Asia.
We’re looking for the following criteria:
1. Female Chinese (not necessarily born in China)
2. Age Range: 22-37
3. Based in Shanghai
4. Blogs
5. Good command of English
6. Able to talk and present herself well on camera
We would need a contact number so that we can arrange an audition, or if you can send us a short video taking about yourself on camera, that would be even better. We hope to find a suitable female blogger for the Shanghai segment of our programme.
Currently, we have a fixer in Shanghai who will help us audition for people. We need to get the following on camera (in English only):
1. Name (and age, if not sensitive)
2. Brief description of the your job
3. Hobbies/Interests
4. Likes & Dislikes
5. Daily Life – Where you hang out, what you like to do, etc.
6. Talk about your Blog - how it started, what you write about, etc.
If selected, you would be require to film for up to 8 days in Shanghai, probably from mid-July onwards (dates are not fixed yet), and will be paid RMB 4,000 for the entire period.
