Very quiet here ... anybody around? How is your valentine ... my valentine was a disaster ...
Planned to go for a meal unplanned ... i mean we did not book anywhere in advance. And hubby said today up to me where i wanted to eat ... i fancy asian food ... chinese, korean or japanese. Rang hotel and all full
So ... we decided to go to cheapy cafe and save the proper 'valentine dinner' for the weekend. Then we went to this Indonesian cafe ... cost us 70 QR (less than 10 pound) including take away.
Hubby found out his car head light is broken ... so we heading to Hyundai parts Garage to buy a new bulb. All the way through 'C' ring road towards Ramada junction. And alas when we are in the front of the queue, when suddenly the cars engine revs race to 2000+ then the car's engine dead. @#$$%^%&^*&*&(*&0-
15 mins stuck in the traffic .... keep trying to start up the engine ... queue stretching back for miles ........ orchestra of horns keep us company ......... nothing happening, 20 mins gone lights change.. red, green, red on and on......... horns keep going, car wont!!!! all of sudden the engine back on.
So continue the trip to the spare part shop ... and get bulb. Asked somebody to have a look in the engine, still lots of revs!!! ... cannot risk taking it home, dont want to get stuck again, decided to leave the key with them and asked them to do full service (due). As he close the bonnet my hubby managed to drop the car key inside the engine ...so dark and hot down there, no torch.
Another 10 mins spent just try to get the key out... shop mechanic bang the bottom of car, and key drop out.
Then off to get taxi to go home. Passed the Hyundia show room, called in to see the new Santa Fe ......... sales man remembered us and asked how the car was!!! Wrong time to ask Dont think anybody nearby will buy one now
But we manage to get his pity, he arranged with his colleague to take us home as it was closing time .......... nice people there
I trust you got your car back up and running . My valentines wasn't much better.
car back running now ... is not mine ... it is hubby's. But when hubby's carless then we struggling 1 car for him and school run.
I think the youngster celebrate them ... but older generation don't.
IMHO ... to show your love you dont have to celebrate it once a year, everyday is valentine for me and hubby
Those valentine day encourage for commercial purposes me think! Buy more chocolate, more flowers, more perfumes and more everything for your valentine presents.

But I don't want to worry about tomorrow anymore...
Because I don't want to miss any good things happening now...
I think as long as you have each other...
its a wonderful thing....even we can laugh about the mishaps together...
sweet.....
Let me share this one.( I rec'd from a friend of mine.....)
Here it goes...
People come into your life for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime.
When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered, and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it!
It is real !!! But only for a SEASON.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but frienship is clairvoyant.
