Thank you for inviting me to this forum.
I do not know why I was asked or recomended, but it looks to be fine and secure.
I am an adult male, U.S. born and trying to find the best way for me to live in Bali.
Made is my given name, and although I am 2nd born; neither my father or mother was balinese.
I have studied and practiced Agama Hindu Bali since childhood.
I enjoy any discussion about the culture and religion.
I make a modest living as a painter.
As a hobby, I DJ at clubs & parties -breaks & drum &Bass w/ a bit of funky 'byar in the mix.
I am interested in the 'party culture' all over asia. Has it deteriorated to the point that it has here in the U.S. mid west?

Most people are interested in the "Party Culture", Thats why they come over here every chance they get for a short vacation.

Those interested in the "Peaceful Living" culture just move here after retirement and lay around and drink "Beer" Laughing

But I am talking about Thailand, not Bali,Folks getting blowed up down there. Sad

Here we call the underground music scene, sometimes "party culture". I should have been more specific.
While, I do not object to people making their own decisions as to imbibe liquor or otherwise alter their serotonin levels and central nervous systems within acceptable limits(?), That was, for the most part; the 'deterioration' I was refering to...i.e. ecess drug use and the consequenses thereof.
There is far to much for me waiting in Bali to spend much time laying around or drinking much beer!

I should arrive early Feb.'05 and will stay for 6 mos., or longer if possible.
Are planning a visit also, TT?

My husband and I took our honeymoon in Bali. It was awesome!!! I think a lot of artists hang out in Bali. It's nature is so inspiring I guess.
Anyway, have a nice stay in Bali!
