SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Manages and coordinates all activities associated to New Product Introduction Programs and Marketing programs including the development of marketing collateral and sales tools, as well as status and metrics reports.
Researches and analyzes industry landscape and competitive position of the organization's products and/or services. Identifies new uses and markets for established products
Identifies product and/or service bundles for existing and upcoming market segments to support vertical and target marketing programs to drive connection to the end user.
This position will require travel approximately 10% of the time
Interfaces with China and Huntsville engineering groups to prioritize and drive new product developments
Recommends new product development needs and priorities
Drives Global OEM product transfer process
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage projects and activities to maintain schedule adherence and meet deadlines; maintain activity reports which reflect project status, schedules and risks, team activities, issue identification, tracking and resolution.
Product management for China market and assigned responsibilities.
Ensure work completion to meet program performance goals and objectives
Develop internal processes and objectives to drive performance and ensure success in meeting program goals
Maintain and improve communication between functional departments for each marketing program
EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate should have at least 5-7 years of marketing, product management or related experience. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful program management and implementing marketing plans with experience in the following areas:
Successfully supporting product and/or service marketing programs to distributor networks, OEM’s and large-scale business-to-business corporate accounts is preferred.
Successfully introducing new product developments to internal organization as well as marketplace.
Excellent organizational and project management skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Must have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and be able to develop and maintain good working relationships, both internally & externally.
Working with and supporting a team in a fast paced, result oriented environment is a must for the successful candidate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in Marketing or a related field of study is a must.
An advanced degree or MBA is desirable.
