If they are guilty, sure, lock them up and throw away the key. These kinds of set ups happen quite often in the Philippines, though. I know....I used to live there and it happened to to me! It was a drug charge, though, not a sex charge. I don't do drugs. I didn't buy drugs. I didn't have drugs. But that didn't stop the police from arresting me and throwing me in jail. I had to pay quite a bit of money to get out.
On another occasion, the police came to my place of business. They said they had received a tip that I was making porn. What was the big piece of evidence? The fact that I owned a video camera and a tripod, plus...the big shocker....video editing software!! My business was training and making underwater videos for SCUBA divers.
Filipino police are like dogs. They sniff a little supper and they will do anything to get their feed. I have no idea if these dudes are sex trafficking perverts, but I do know that just about anything that comes from law enforcement in the Philippines is from a set-up. _________________ Ryan Wiley
