My wife is a Filipino citizen. I am a US citizen that is moving to the Philippines for retirement. I have heard that my wife can petition me at the Bureau Of Immigration in the Philippines as a permanent resident. The Philippines says that this is accepted from some countries. My question is, is the US one of those countries that accepts it's citizens to apply for permanent residency in the Philippines? I am not looking to apply for Philippine citizenship or give up my US citizenship, only permanent residency. _________________ Hosea
If you arrive with your wife you will get a balakabayn (spelling?) visa, and that allows you to stay permanently.
