I stitched together this photo from Bagan but I can't seem to find the right tool, or, at least, how to use the right tool in Photoshop to get rid of the seams in the sky where the images stitch together. Can anyone give me a little direction?

S P....
Pretty neat photo...
cannot even notice your stitches...
can you try to clone the color you want and blend it together...
just a thought.... |

Hi S P...
( Healing Brush Tool)
Click on the healing brush..
And while holding the control button, click the color that you want..
And click on the area that you want to heal...
It should blend in with the color that you want...
( Eyedropper )
Click the eyedropper tool..
Click the color that you want...
Click the area that you want to blend in....
You can try either one.... |

The smudge and clone tools might also help.
Nice shot, btw!

Can't seem to locate the smudge tool in my Photoshop.
Found it in the help menu but it's nowhere to be seen when I open the program. |

I'm on a different version to you but I suspect it's hiding. Do you have an icon that looks like a water droplet? If you click on that, you'll hopefully see another icon (a pointing finger). That's what you want to select for the smudge tool.

The clone tool works great. I will find it later (at home) and post you the location. Or do you have a Lite version of Photoshop 7?? _________________ Asia Expats Forum

There actually is an eyedropper tool with an eyedropper for the icon rather than the water droplet which is the blur tool.
I see the smudge tool when I right click on the blur tool. I'll give that a try.
I tried the clone stamp but wasn't able to blend the colors particularly well. I hope the smudge works a bit better for me. |

Yeah, I always thought the eydropper was the one that looked like a pippette (sp?). If I recall correctly, I think that's just for selecting a colour.

That's a good point... the clone tool is probably the best tool for getting rid of those joins. I think this would be better than the smudge tool.

| Well, I must be doing something wrong because I couldn't get any smooth blending effect with the clone stamp. |
