Firstly, Hi all!
We are living in Dubai and planning a holiday to Thailand in August.
Originally we were going to stay at the Evason Hideaway in Hua Hin as we love the Six Senses resorts. However, we have just read a few negative reviews on tripadvisors about the non existing beach...so we are a bit worried. We will be going for a pool villa, but do also love lazing on the beach, swimming in the sea and taking long strolls.

We are keen on ko Samui as an option too...
Could anyone recommend resorts with great rooms/architecture, good food and a lovely swimming beach?
We want to spoil ourselves before our first child arrives Laughing

Key West is not big. You can totally get it done in a day. The bulk of the interesting things will be near all the main things on Duval. And if you stay the night, make sure you are near Duval St. Top of La Concha Inn has a bar, highest point in Key West...not sure if you can go if you aren't guests...but it might be a good place to check out, take pictures, see sunset etc.
