Mike, I love Stallone, am one of his biggest fans, but even I have to say that all his recent efforts were massive flops - though I like them personally. And I have to say he is getting a bit too old for these action roles ...
In fact, other than CopLand, most of his action flicks (after Rambo III) didn't do too well either. For example, the Specialist, Assasins and others.
I'll cite two examples ..
"DTox" - one critic described watching this movie as having to go through a detox center oneself (not verbatim)
"Get Carter" - I love this one too, but a critic said "Note to Stallone! Stop making movies!!"
And those critics were being kind when compared to some.
If it's a war of words then Quiblle will win it hands down...
Poor ole Rocky will get stuck on the first Uh!
Simon, good one
Wonder what Mr. JQ has to say about all this ... JQ, where are you? Busy drinking that chardonnay? _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community!
Splendid suggestion Rahul. Perhaps if we see Rocky VII or VIII, I may be featured in one of his warm-up bouts. I'm only 13 years older than his character in Rocky VI, you know.

Call me when those movies are released then, my dear Quibble.
