But you will still get a bill for the month.
Surprised that they show NFL or MLB at all,,seem to be pretty well hooked on that sissy game that girls play in schools in the USA.. SOCCER, but they call it footie or football.
Maybe thats the reason that the fukin steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.
Do you have cable or sat?? I don't watch it, but there seems to be a lot of MLB listed during the day on sat,, my dad loved Baseball but I never was to much for sports, but do enjoy football [NFL] not soccer.
How can you denounce FOOTBALL (I mean the FOOTBALL, that the WHOLE world outside the US plays) as a sissy game and implying that football (this time I mean the football that the minority of world citizens in the US play) was sooo manly?
Rugby is manly. Thai kick-boxing is manly. These guys do not need padding on all bones, because THEY can take the hurt involved in sports.
A lover of Rugby, FOOTBALL and Football (especially after the hurt goes away...)
G-hunter
P.S.: during my one year stint as a high school student in the US I found out, that back then (1986), FOOTBALL was indeed played like a sissy sport in the US. Nothing compared to Europe.
Right you are,,I did finally see some kick boxing that I thought was manly,,those two got out there and feet to the head and fists to the face and tried to tear each others heads off,,not like normal Thai kick boxing where 2 guys just hug each other and hit in the side with the inside of the knee and never throw a good punch or a good kick,
But the fight I am talking about was 2 women.
I have only seen a small part of a rugby game and would like to see another,, but no soccer,.
As for the sissys in NFL,,today on a game I saw an ambulance come onto the field and haul off a 6'6" 360 # lineman .
And all high scool sports are played "sissy" because if a kid is ever hurt,,the parents will sue for XXX millions of dollars and win in a court of law,,thats why.
OH and by the way NFL football is also played in NFL EUROPE and also they have a Canadian league too.
Yeah, right, NFL Europe exists. Went to one game once and it was a great party.
But, my point is, that it makes no sense at all to differentiate between sissy sports and no-sissy sports. Sport is sport. And if someone wants to have it the hard way, ok, let him do that.
As a European, I am, of course, quite concious about anything, that american through at the world. And the slightest sign of superiority feeling (like what is the RIGHT sport to show on TV) gets my undevided attention. Americans have stuck out their head enough for a while and they should be a little more reserved in giving GOOD ADVISE to the rest of the world.
