shot an 82 at bangpoo CC yesterday
2 holes really killed me--a triple and a double due to poor dirves, one ob and another one that ended up 70 meteres from the tree and behind a tree
other than that I drove beautifully --and my irons were fairly good..
no 3 putts.
next week could be Bang Phra or Bangpoo again
Bangphra

| Did you hire a caddy? I find this troublesome in Thailand because their level of English is quite good. |

Have a good trip on sunday ,at Bangpra a good caddy can help you very much cause the green quite stiff, tricky line but very challenge.

Pleased to hear it. I always insist on a non English-speaking caddy in any event. There's nothing worse than lining up a tee shot with a 1-wood, when some wretched garcon tags at your shirt and babbles something about it only being a par-3. |

Quibble, what are you yammering about? What does a "garcon" mean, and if you always want non English speakers, then what do you do when you play in the UK? _________________ Dongguan Expat - Your online Community! |

Well I barely made it to my 6:40 tee off time at Crystal Bay but I was pleaseantly surprised when I made to the 1 st tee the starter saw me and said "are you Michael"
YESSS I am-so they put me with 3 old taiwanese men--right on time.
The course was nice and although I didn't really hit the ball well I scored 40 on the front 9.
The caddies were very aggressive--joking about "you work overtime last night" and other BS like that. I would really prefer that if my caddy is over 50 years old that she forget about the flirting and concentrate on helping me around the course.
My caddy did give me a lot of advice about my swing--she was mostly right but she went to far and as we got down to the final few holes I was wishing she would shut up.
Greens were fast.
final score 84
4 three putts
1 drive ob
1 birdie--on handicap 1 hole
we played the AB course and I would like to play the CD one day.
started at 6:40
finished by 11:15
had a coffee, fried rice and water afterwords 135Baht _________________ Asia Expats Forum
