Northeast (沈阳) and I've been heree with her for 6 months now. I know a great future could be built here for us but her and family believe different. I'd love to plant roots here then go back stateside and plant ourselves another place there but she thinks the order is wrong......we'll see.

Sorry to interfere in a ladies forum, only my 2 cents about Asian ladies married to Westerners.
They can be classified in 3 classes:
1 - Ripping-off:
Poor ladies, married a walking ATM, put a family of 60 under his financial reponsibility and he usually run away when he get the point. I have seen cases in Thailand and the Philippines.
2 - Wrong move:
Married a westerner out of love, not money. Realised later that the drunkyard is violent, arrogant, run after girls in all available bars and, maybe, is also a paedophile. They ran away in tears and despair.
3 - Good move:
She is not the ripping-off type.
He is not the tropical tramp type.
huge cultural schok, but the 2 parties are trying hard to understand how the other's brain is functiuning and it's OK.
It is my case since 5 years with a Thai lady. My little paradise
My first marriage was a class 1 case.
Was a disaster
My current realtionship is a class 3, going on now for 8 years.
Problem I am leaning toward becoming a class 2 person, I am bored in this relationship and want to have some fun. After all we only have 1 life and time is running out. We had a great time for about 5-6 years but its getting old. No kids together. Problem she never leaves me alone-cannot go out with the boys etc.. Other than going to work she goes with me everywhere, alsogetting in the way of my relationship with my son from the first marriage. What to do? Talking is a waste of time. The thrill is gone.
Let's hear it for the class 3's!!! 18yrs. of marriage and still going good.... Have kids, businesses, land, etc. AND still have plenty to do _________________ Hey! from the mountains
White man marrying asian girl... i never look at the money or status crap which some whites and some asians think. Sure the kids turned out great lookin having the exotic features from me and the 'palesness??' from their father... But what's so cool marrying a white guy??Guys are guys,white,black,asian,etc...they graduated from THE SAME SCHOOL and believe me, the hurt and the tears you shed, especially when ur so far away from home and have only hubby as husband... they are the same tears and pain if i were to marry an asian guy.Like i said earlier...GUYS ARE ALL THE SAME. If he's good to you it's bcos he is a GOOD man..not because he's white. If he's nasty, it's bcos he is a MCP...not bcos he's non-white!!Yippeee to all apes in the world!
Well stated Ana AND it goes the same way for the other side of the fence as well... _________________ Hey! from the mountains
Maybe ladies should ask the guys:
What is so great with asian ladies?
I like Asian women because of their eyebrows >
I am in Asia since 10years, love Asian ladies but do fancy Western women... for they do have a mind on their own.
If Western women have a mind "on their own" its the one or more they kept from the past divorces. _________________ AIR ASIA & NOK AIR Discriminate against the Disabled
