Many times when I log in here, all I see is adverts.
I dont mind the occasional advert, often they are informative and may be useful to some people.
However, seeing the same advert in several sections, or the same, or virtually the same, advert numerous times, is boring, and a waste of space.
Who was it, Ma associates. Every day there were one or more adverts extolling he reasons why someone would book a flight or hotel with them.
All identical, but naming a dfferent airline.
What effect does this have?
In my case, if I wanted to book a flight, they are the very last people in the world that I would use.
Their attitude shows lack of respect for readers, for the owners of the forum, and that they assume that readers are stupid, and that someone reading "travel agent for airlines" wouldnt be able to work out that this includes all airlines.
So, multiple adverts can easily have a negative effect and Discourage customers!
Apart from that, Message boards such as this can be ruined by having too much advertising.

Upon suggestion of a member I opened a section "Business-Info" on my forum. It's surprising how many views the posts in there count. But nobody actually starts a new thread in there. I have to move wrongly placed posts into there. _________________ Thailand Forum - Korat Forum..
