It has got so bad here that I only look in every couple of weeks or so.

When I do, I find that around 90% of posts are adverts, often the same one repeated under several headings.

It used to be the occasional advert, with many threads about topics that people responded to.

Now?
By the look of it, the spammers have almost killed it.

Hope it works.

As a suggestion, were it me, I would post a rule where everyone can see it, and then delete all adverts, UNLESS the poster had asked you first.

After all, it is your site, and they should do you the courtesy of asking permission to advertise here.

Meanwhile, lets see if we, all of us, can get some topics going.

As a start, I am due to go to the Philippines early next year.
Thank goodness as I will be glad to get anywhere that is warmer than the UK is right now!

A good friend of mine, a brit, recently went to philipines and met a 19 years old beauty--hes going back to see her early next year.

Mike, one can find failed relationships, scammers, money-grabbers, and all sorts one can imagine, in the Philippines exactly as one can anywhere.

However, the average Filipina has to be one of the nicest people on the planet, and all of them are very friendly, which makes any visit a pleasure.

I agree with the spam/advert statement made by Alan. It really is a turn off.

and from Mikes side.... doing it on your own is really difficult I know....gives you little time for yourself.

but if the members get the idea that you have become discouraged, whether it is correct or not, for what ever reason, I think that they will wander...

I will try and check in more often.
