My internet connection really sucks today. Connecting to Thai sites is fine but overseas sites are very slow and many are tiniming out--including google.com.
Its a common issue, I actually use TRUE wi-fi myself as im usually always mobile and happen to wonder through true wireles points and sit myself down to go online, and usually find the same problem, it normally times out or the worst is when i am trying to upload through ftp and it wont fully upload, and it sits on 70% and connection fails and tries again. an update to my TRUE service
ever since getting a router with wifi I have had much less connection problems. The USB modem sucked.
I have one pc at my house linked to router by wifi and it rarely has problems. I have 2 pc's connected by 100 MB LAN and they also are fairly stable. Maybe about twicwe a month I have to reboot the router to get my connection working--rather I reboot the router rather than rebooting my PC which might alsop solve the problem.
Actually i could scrap the true service altogether and just connect to my neighbors wifi enabled router--but that wouldn't be nice would it? _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating
Well i know that if it is a router supplied by True themselves than yes you will have problems,
I have also heard that they dont provide useful routers but they apparently say that you must use there router inorder to use True service i believe this is just there sales pitch and would recommend you buy a useful one,

I dont know if D-Link would help for this but i know they are the best i have come across.
I bought a Level 3 router--like I say its works quite well--cost me about 6K baht includiing 2 usb wifi adapters-with 4 LAN ports and firewall etc.. _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating

what about the true wifi service? I do not use that-How do they charge or is it included with true broadband _________________ Asia Expats Forum Expat Friends Dating
Its a good question, and im sorry at this stage i do not have the answer for you on broadband.
Although i only know the pricing is 500 baht a month for wi-fi, but they also require you take up mobile phone plan, which is 299 baht a month on top but you get 299 baht worth of free calls until you overspend,
My bill has never been over 1000 baht a month, and i use the internet about 14 hours a day, and make atleast 3 phone calls a day at about 2 mins in lenght a time _________________ Asian Dating Bangkok Apartments Melbourne SEO
