its not under the thailand warranty (i bought it in the us), but i have an extended warranty plan through a company in the states that will cover any repairs made internationally. the camera is also a NTSC not a PAL.

how long will you be in thailand?

I have my ipaq 6315 at service for 2 weeks now(broken screen). if spare parts are required you might have a problem. Sometimes we have to service an IBM laptop of a visiting employee--we send them to IBM main service center and they camp out until its finished--usually pretty quick if they know you are waiting.

I suppose you need a specialty repair shop that can repair on premises and has spare parts-- tough to find

I suppose you could get a friend living in Thai to call them. Most of my emails to the Support from various websites rarely get answered. I suppose nobody reads them
