Restaurant. lets see............. Theres a great argentinian steakhouse in downtown Geneva. Cant remember the name the steak was the best I've ever tasted.
There's an excellent Thai restaurant downtown London, two floors, low tables - I love that type of setting. I don't particularly like Thai food, but in that place, I'd eat everyday. Oh, and I will report the name of the place once I remember it (Anyone from London here?)
Most asian restaurnants in British Columbia with special note on japanese sushi. Sorry English food really does suck except for its immigration restaurants.
There are some regional dishes that are, for example Scottish or Welsh, and therefore British, but no English.
Throughout England there are also regional dishes.
As for English (or British) food, some is excellent, and anyone who doesnt like it may not have tasted it at its best.

here in Kuala Lumpur I would recommend the "Chalet Swiss" in Ampang.
Heinz is cooking a mean "Cheese Fondue" besides a few other dishes I can eat, since I am a vegetarian.
When I visit KLCC I go to "Chocz. Cafe" on the 3th floor where I always can get a free coffee or hot chocolate since its my own place (partialy) ha ha.
when I'm Singapore I must visit "The Original SIN" in Holland Village, another fantastic vegetarian reastaurant where none vegetarians would be converted to this diet.
Besides they have an interresting Wine list.
