Hmmm... my favorite sport is Tennis... I've been playing it for 4 years now. And my favorite player is Pete Sampras. He is tall and his serving style really fit me.

I like fast cars and anything else with wheels. I'm not really a huge baseball fan, or into any of those sports for that matter, except hockey.

You did'nt mention if Aussie rules need brains

Most definately - brains are a requirement for Aussie rules...
However if it's Rugby(League or Union) it's more an option than a requirement... Mr. Green

you're right Mike..it's indoor football..
I think it's harder than regular, because you play for 50 yards only..
you have to think very fast.. thats what I see..
For detail " Wiley " can explain...I'm just a casual fan...
no favorite team yet..I came from a country who loves soccer..
so football is very new to me... Wave

There's several differences in Arena football. HEre's some of the main ones:

*The field is 50 yards long.
*The endzone is only 5 yards deep.
*Many players play offense and defense.
*It's mostly a passing game, not much room to run.
*The goal is much smaller with a net that covers the entire back of the endzone. The reason for this is on kickoffs and field goal attempts, the ball can come off the net and be 'in play.' Meaning a botched field goal attempt can and is usually returned.
*The sidelines are the walls surrounding the field. Players frequently get knocked over the wall and into the fans.
*It's a faster paced game than the NFL.
*Scores tend to be much higher.
*The players are playing for the love of the game, no big-money players.
*Basically, it's backyard football with uniforms!

Try to find a game and watch if you can, it's the fun version of football!

Yep! It's still full-contact football!

And they're even allowed to celebrate in the endzone!

It's a very quick paced, fun game, you should try to watch at least one game.
