Hi all, I'm looking for a hotel for a family of 4 in Bangkok in July for couple nights and I would be grateful for any recommendations. There are so many hotels in Bangkok and it's mind boggling to go through all those reviews. I guess our basic requirement would be convenient location, clean, kids friendly and of course reasonably priced.

The Nana Hotel is very family oriented as is the Dynasty hOtel. _________________ Wer tanzen will, muss die Musik bezahlen
Many thanks to Mike and Hewer, I'll check these out.
Sorry Catepekin, I was very drunk when I replied to your question. Italy had just cheated their way to a victory over Australia in the World Cup and I was in a destructive mood. I am a family man and I can tell you, you definietly DON'T want to try out those hotels.
Two possibilities in the Sukhumvit area:
1. Luxury: Davis Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 34. Absolutely marvellous. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Quiet, safe area, good for families. I stayed there with my wife last year. 3500 baht per night.
2. Budget: Golden Palace Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 1. Big swimming pool, VERY large rooms although they seem a tad old. Very quiet but relatively close to BTS. 1200 baht per night. _________________ Wer tanzen will, muss die Musik bezahlen
